Custom Layout

By default, the Web Client SDK includes pre-built layouts, and they are very simple to use and yet provide a sophisticated group video conference layout. While the pre-built layout takes all the resize complexity from the developer, sometimes the scenarios require specific layout configurations, or if you want to tune your video layout, there is always a custom option you can use.

For example in a virtual classroom, the teacher's videos might get more view space than the student's videos. If this is the case, the default pre-built layouts may not be suitable for your application. In this case, you need to choose your layout and the individual video tiles yourself. Using this SDK, you can render the remote video participant at what size, and where it will lie in your application user interface.
