Salient Features

To join a meeting, the user requires a combination of Meeting ID and Passcode. BlueJeans meetings are passcode enabled by default, but if your use case requires the meetings without passcode, you can change the setting via. Admin portal.

Basic Features

View the complete list of basic supported features of Android Client SDK are as follows:

Join Meeting	Join a meeting with or without the passcode. Join a meeting with meeting id and moderator/participant passcode.
Leave Meeting	Participants can leave the meeting at any point of time. Leave a meeting (and optionally end the meeting as a moderator).
Participant self-audio/video mute/unmute	Participants have the option to mute/unmute their audio or video modes during the meeting.
Select Camera/Micro-phone device	Participants can select a choice of audio or video devices connected to their desktop.
Initiate Screen Share	Participant can initiate screen sharing from their desktop browser to others.
Receive Screen Share	Participants can receive screen share content from another participant.
List of participants	Participants can be able to see the list of participants who attended the meeting.
Participant's audio/video states	The list of all the participants who have joined the meeting and their respective audio/video states.
Layout support for video stream	Ability to change video layouts in 3 different ways. (Ref. Video Layouts).
Video Resolution	You can send and receive video in/up to 720p.
Video Rotation	Video rotation is automatically managed between landscape and portrait modes
Retrieve version of the SDK	A way for developers to get the latest version of the SDK, e.g. Logging or Support Purposes
Meeting Capacity	The number of participants supported during the meeting is based on the plan and differs for Trial, E-COMM, and Enterprise customers. You can here for more details
Moderator controls	Support moderator control (Ref. Moderator Controls).
Frame rate	The frequency at which frames in a video sequence are displayed is as follows: Up to 30 fps for video Up to 5 fps for content
Individual Stream Control	Support for custom layout and configuration of remote video streams
Self Audio/Video Mute	Participants can mute / unmute either their audio or video
Layout Support for Remote Video	Ability to change between different styles of layout. See “Video Layouts” below

Advanced Features

Supported Features	Elucidation
Private Chat	Participants can perform one-to-one chats to interact with the other participants during the meeting (Ref. PrivateChatService).
Public Chat	Participants can perform a group chat to interact with the other participants during the meeting (Ref. PublicChatService).
Logging	This feature provides the user to set the logging mode and help to upload the logs.
Closed Captioning	Ability to enable or disable transcription of meeting audio. Participants can able to see the closed captions during the meeting, where meeting audio will be converted to text by using speech-to-text services.
Spotlight Video Participant	The ability for the moderators to turn on or off the spotlight of video participants
Waiting Room	Support for the waiting room feature enhances the security of the meeting and gives moderators control over who can join the meeting after it has started (Ref. Waiting Room).
Enable/Disable Media Stream	A way for a user to manage their video, audio and content stream. Once disabled, only the user can enable their video, audio, and content streams and the moderator has no control over the meeting. Note This can be used to enable scenarios where the user provides a choice to switch to low bandwidth consumption when traveling or weak network areas or to provide a content-only mode.
